Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. With the Lord on my side I do not fear. Ps. 118:5-6
Closed in by life
The day to day presses in on us
Until we fall, weary
Into restless slumber
Only to begin again…
Longing for that broad place
That unclosed space
We call on God
And openness occurs
And fear recedes
God stands with us
Keeping the day to day at bay
Freedom for the asking
