Every breath is a blessed one because every breath is a reminder that we are here as a result of God’s constant love. I like this passage though because it reminds us that our relationship with Christ cannot be one-sided. It is true that his love is a miracle, but for it to be fulfilling, we must take an active part in praising him. We cannot breathe in forever. Eventually, we must exhale, and when we do, we will share God’s mercies and love and spirit with the world.
