The Lenten journey pulls us forward with a power that resounds across human history: the irresistible call to rebirth in resurrection and its earthly manifestation as spring.The journey's end is grace, but within the bounds of human understanding we can arrive only when the journey's ordeal is fulfilled.In humility, we pray that our earthly brothers and sisters who suffer may find new life at their destinations.
