One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4
To live in the house of the Lord is to live to one’s fullness, for however many days we are given. We discover the beauty of the Lord as we live a full and creative life in a growing knowledge of God. We seek to understand Jesus and to follow him into his temple singing Lord of the Dance.
“I danced in the morning when the world was begun, I danced in the moon and the stars and the sun, I came down from heaven and I danced on earth…”.
As we sing this song we are made aware that Jesus lived fully the days he was given and then we learn, he is “the life that will never, never die! I’ll live in you, if you’ll live in Me. I am the Lord of the Dance, said he!” As one of my friends told his young daughter, this song tells the story of our religion.
